Tako Sickasso

My  name is Tako Sickasso, I have been building show winning original cars and motorcycles for over 20 years. I have been featured in and graced covers of numerous  publications. What sets me apart is not only my passion for building show winning  cars and motorcycles but my creativity. While others build or assemble cars and bikes I separate my self by building art!

WHILE OTHERS HAVE A STYLE WHICH AMOUNTS TO BE THEIR COOKIE CUTTERS.  I NEVER CLAIM TO HAVE A STYLE, BUT CLAIM TO HAVE STYLE WHICH IN RETURN MEANS ONE OFF MASTERPIECES.

So If you are looking to set yourself apart from other bike owners and so called custom bikes, then come see us at GAME CHANGER CUSTOMS. We are the answer! We take everything we do very seriously and We really hope that you are thrilled with our webpage. We want to give a HUGE thank you to Bruce Q. at Elemental Holdings, Inc. for starting and building an absolute masterpiece of a website. As time progressed, Tako wanted to bring his nephew Rich (Richie) P. from L.R.J. Marketing in to assist with the future content of G.C.C.’s webpage. Thank you for the years of hard work and dedication to your craft Bruce.

I’ve had a love for motorcycles and cars as long as I can remember. I bought my first motorcycle in 2003 and was hooked on the life, the extension of yourself that 2 wheels supported. Precision engineering like no other…mechanics, energy, and motion.

In 2006 I was chosen with little to no knowledge to do a biker build off on ESPN. I had minimal resources, no experience and no shop to call home. Fortunately the industry and teacher found me. A good friend Tako opened his shop doors to me. He let me build, showed me the ropes, and guided and mentored me into a builder while I took on my first competition.

After my build off I worked and continued to learn metal fabrication, aesthetics, mechanics and most importantly…. blood, sweat, burns…. No tears better not your a girl ha!  in various car and metal fabrication shops. I was welding part-time at Expert Welding in Pompano when Tako offered me an opportunity to work together again at Game Changer Customs. Of course I jumped at the chance to keep doing what I am passionate about.

My father always taught me to do what you love in life. My Mother always said there are no limitations on what you set your mind to. When your a woman in a male dominated industry you have to always be proving yourself. Yet thats what keeps me on my toes.

I weld, fabricate, sand, prep and I am a student of the industry. I live to learn and that is my drive.  I do whatever it takes to restore or build the vehicles and materials that take us there.
